FabricCraft Privacy Policy
This policy explains how FabricCraft ("we", "us") handles information when you use fabriccraft.net and the FabricCraft Minecraft server(s) (together, the "Services").
What we collect
- Support messages you send us (email address, message content, attachments).
- Website technical data processed by our providers, such as IP address, device/browser information, referrer, and request timestamps (and similar operational logs).
- Minecraft server technical data such as username/UUID, IP address, connection/session timestamps, and other data needed to run the server.
- In-server content and activity you generate (e.g., chat, private messages if used, commands, moderation reports, and other user content), plus relevant moderation events.
- Store purchase and fulfilment information, such as Minecraft username/UUID, package/product IDs, transaction/reference IDs, entitlement status, and related timestamps.
If you don't provide the technical data required to run the Services (e.g., IP/UUID), you may not be able to access them.
What we use it for
- Operate and maintain the Services.
- Provide support.
- Prevent abuse, investigate incidents, and enforce rules.
- Process, deliver, manage, and audit store purchases.
Store purchases
We use Tebex to provide checkout and payment processing. Tebex may collect checkout information such as contact details, billing/payment details, Minecraft username, purchase details, IP address, and related technical information. Tebex handles this information under its own privacy policy: Tebex Privacy Policy.
FabricCraft receives purchase information from Tebex so we can deliver purchases, manage subscriptions, handle refunds or chargebacks, prevent abuse, and keep purchase records. We store fulfilment and audit data such as Minecraft username/UUID, Tebex transaction/reference IDs, package/product IDs, entitlement details, status, and timestamps. Contact and payment-related fields from Tebex are redacted before storage.
AI support and moderation assistance
We may use AI model/API providers, including OpenAI and Anthropic, to help provide support, answer server questions, prevent abuse, and assist with moderation review. When relevant, information sent to these providers may include chat, support messages, reports, screenshots or attachments, Minecraft usernames/UUIDs, Discord identifiers/usernames, and moderation context.
We use these providers to operate the Services, not to sell personal data or share it for advertising. We use business/API services where providers act as service providers/processors and state that API/commercial inputs and outputs are not used for model training by default unless opted in. Provider privacy and data handling information is available from OpenAI and Anthropic.
Legal bases (UK/EEA where applicable)
- Legitimate interests (operating, securing, moderating, and supporting the Services).
- Providing the service / performance of a contract where applicable.
- Legal obligations where required.
Service providers
We use third-party providers to operate the Services (for example: website hosting, DNS/proxy services, server hosting/infrastructure providers, checkout/payment providers, email providers, and AI model/API providers). These providers process information for service operation, purchase processing, and support.
We don't sell personal data or share it for advertising.
Cookies
We don't intentionally use analytics or advertising cookies. Our providers may set strictly necessary cookies for operation. If we add non-essential cookies, we'll request consent where required.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses).
Automated moderation and abuse prevention
We may use automated systems (e.g., anti-spam/anti-abuse) to operate the Services and enforce rules. Where a message is flagged by automated systems, our moderators may review its contents to enforce our rules; private messages are only ever reviewed for safety and are not posted publicly. We may check Minecraft connection IP addresses with IP reputation, proxy, VPN, or abuse-detection providers, including ipapi.is, to help operate the Services and enforce our rules. You can contact us if you believe an action was made in error.
Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for support, operations, moderation, and legal compliance. Routine chat and server logs are retained for up to 90 days. Moderation records (for example, punishments and flagged content) and data under legal hold may be kept longer where necessary.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction/objection, and to withdraw consent where applicable.
To make a request: support@fabriccraft.net.
UK/EEA users can complain to their data protection authority (UK: ICO).
Changes
We may update this policy by posting a new version and updating the effective date.
